Start by learning where the conversation left off
Before answering, read the previous shift’s handover and the creator’s persona document. The persona gives you the voice and boundaries to follow. The handover gives you context: who is waiting, what was discussed and what the next agent needs to know.
Imagine a returning subscriber mentions a stressful day. If earlier notes explain what happened, you can respond to the situation without asking them to repeat everything. This is a fictional example of using context, not a transcript from a real subscriber.
Check what you know against the notes. Do not fill a gap with an invented personal detail or a promise the creator has not approved. When something is unclear, use the agency’s standard operating procedures, or SOPs, to decide what to do next.
Make an offer when it fits
Pay-per-view content is paid content offered within the conversation. You use the creator’s prices. You do not set a new price on your own or promise content that is not part of the approved offer.
Timing takes judgment. An offer should connect to the exchange you are having. If a subscriber declines, respond calmly and keep within the creator’s boundaries. The work includes sales, so being friendly is only part of the role; you also need to understand how to make a clear offer.
The Academy’s chat script frameworks are a useful reference for welcome messages, offers and follow-ups. Treat a framework as a way to think about a conversation. The actual reply still needs to suit the person, the context and the approved persona.
Follow up and keep the record useful
Some subscribers go quiet. Some open an offer without buying. Re-engaging those subscribers is part of the listed work. Read the existing exchange before following up so that your message makes sense in context.
You log fan details in a CRM, a system used to keep customer notes. Write information that helps the next shift understand the conversation. A short, accurate note is more useful than a long guess about what someone might want.
Confidentiality applies throughout the shift. Follow the agency’s rules for account access, messages and notes. Do not turn subscriber conversations into personal writing samples or public screenshots. If you want to practise for an application, use invented, non-explicit examples instead.
Finish with a clear handover
Before checking out, record the context another agent will need. Think about unanswered messages, ongoing conversations and any point that needs attention under the SOPs. The next agent should be able to read your notes and understand what is happening.
This work takes place during 8-hour shifts, 6 days each week. The order and pace of tasks can vary, so this guide does not assign invented time slots or message targets. Ask about the actual shift and account procedures during hiring.
You do not appear on camera, meet fans or share your identity with subscribers. You are still working in an adult-industry inbox throughout the role. If that combination suits you, review the assessment and training path before applying.
